Spring has finally gained a foothold in Kansai and while the big Hanami areas are still not in bloom, I did find a small grove of Sakura that are beginning to bloom.
Mully’s accent challenge
Regional dialects and different accents are pretty interesting.
This is a demonstration of my accent, a south eastern Michigan midwest accent.

Japan’s voting age moving to 18 & Constitutional change
I do think that the age of majority should be 18 in Japan. There is no good reason for it not to be. Coming of Age Day doesn’t have to change, but the benefits of 18-year-olds actually getting a voice are numerous.
I also put forward a thought about how Japan should amend the constitution, at least as far as where the priority should be.
